Thomas & Thomas fly rod and Bogdan fly reel combo for 14.500$!
I just found an awesome auction on ebay (click here), where a Thomas and Thomas fly fishing rod and a Stanley Bogdan Fly Fishing reel are for sale for nearly 15.000 bucks. Is it worth the money? I don't know, but i would love to have them

YES! I just took a look, Wow! I’m very familiar with Stanley Bogdan’s wonderful “Trout” and remember when Tom Dorsey was actively designing rods and targeting the T&T Rod Company towards a very Elite and Selective Clientele. The ‘Jus Swel’ was an Engineering Wonder! What a Killer combination! Definitely one to Hallmark one’s collection! This is the first time I have seen a ‘Jus Swel’ since I saw the prototype at the San Mateo Sportsman’s Expo I believe in 86.’ Tom Dorsey was there promoting the T&T line and the New Limited Edition Series of 10 Historic Rods… In 86′ it cost over $4,000. and Get In Line! At least I got to cast the prototype, WOW!! Is it ‘Worth It,’ I would sure think so. Mint / New like the one on eBay and the same for the Bogdan Trout, I think “You Bet!”

Wow! Up Date, the eBay Seller of the “Jus Swell” and Bogdan Trout has listed Another Limited Edition, Tom Dorsey / Tom Maxwell built rod. T&T’s Kosmic Commemorative! This thing is Beautiful and Faithful to the Original Kosmic except for more precise Engineering, Fit and Finish. If you saw the 87 Jus Swell, you Got to look at the Kosmic. I emailed the seller and he may offer either a Bogdan Trout or like reel, in New or New Old Stock. I haven’t the faintest idea where he gets these “Ultra Rods and Reels” But hes consistently listing and selling them… Check this guy out, he’s bsmcash001 on eBay and he has some of the nicest Rods, Reels, Knives and so on. You know, all the kinds of Toys we wanted back in the day we couldn’t afford them. It’s like the Second Coming, Another Bite At The Apple, The Postman Ringing Twice! As a PS, he mentioned listing a Harold Steel “Pinky” Gillum rod sometime during the summer 2011 or the Fall… Hang on Tight!
